PsychoPy is an open-source application to allow the presentation of stimuli and collection of data for a wide range of neuroscience, psychology and psychophysics experiments. It's a free, powerful alternative to Presentation |TM| or e-Prime |TM|, written in Python (a free alternative to Matlab |TM| ).

**VSS Workshop**: I'm going to run a small-group workshop (probably limit to 30 people) for PsychoPy as a satellite at VSS on the Thursday before the main conference starts.

    - when: Thurs 10th May, 1-5pm(?)
    - where: Naples Grand in the Cyber Cafe
    - cost: $75 (probably)
    - target audience: novice
    - material will cover Builder and simple coding
